Baby VOX plans on starting production of their new sixth album in mid-January.
December 25, 2002 - Baby VOX will be opening a dance school in China. Their managing company, DR Music is planning on building the school called 'Baby VOX Dance School' next summer. It will cost them approximately 2.9 million dollars US, and will be opened in Beijing. By 2004, they hope to have other schools set up in 8 different cities. In order to open these schools, DR Music has taken 4 Chinese teenagers and have been training them rigourously in dance to man the Beijing school when it opens.
December 23, 2002 - For quite some time, minus award show performances, Baby VOX has not performed together. On December 19th Baby VOX gathered for a meeting. They made plans for the upcoming year and have decided to release their new album by next year. They've chosen to use a dance music style and express their feelings more.
December 13, 2002 - December 13th are the Golden Disc Awards! Baby VOX won the Popularity Award and performed Oo Yon.

November 19, 2002 - On November 17th, Baby VOX participated in a Japan-Korea Dream Live Concert, along with BoA. Baby VOX sang 'Oo Yon' live for thier segment in the concert.
October 31, 2002 Kim EZ starts filming today for her drama 'Beijing, My Love'. This drama is produced by both China's CCTV and Korea's KBS. Kim EZ acts in this soap opera as a lovely female who entices the lead male character. They start the filming on the 31st with Kim EZ in sexy, tight clothing, trying to entice Cheju, the son of a prominent man. Besides staring Kim EZ, the other members of Baby VOX will have guest spots.
October 5, 2002 - Baby VOX was invited by GMM-A Thailand Entertainment Company on the 16 last month to work on their remix album. Then later on the 26, 28 and 29 of this month, the girls will go on tour in both Indonesia and Singapore. Also, early next year, apart of the 3 countries listed above, Baby VOX will also go on tour in China, Taiwan, and Malaysia. DR entertainment company offical has announce that "...the Baby VOX asia tour will go ahead regardless of the result in both Indonesia and Singapore, we're trying to achieve a standard where other korean artists haven't before - in time management or the entire setup of the tour. At this point in time the schedule of the tour is still in negotiation with the associates in their indiviual country, the chance of the concert being held in the country's capital city is quite big...." Baby VOX is the first korean girls group that set foot into China in 1998 and had gain extreme popularity through these years, but this achievement is still not their goal, the entire music market of the asian region proves to be more attractive for the girls, especially Thailand and India.

October 5, 2002 - Kim EZ will star in the china/korea cooperated TV drama 'Beijing, My Love'. According to the script, Kim EZ plays a over self-confident girl with an attitude, a fashionable girl that roams the street on her motor cycle. One day eventually she decides to leave Korea and lives in China. Also, other members of Baby VOX will also star in this TV drama, playing parts thru out the entire series. Estimated production cost of 400 million korean dollars (350,000 US dollars) co-operated by the 2 main television companies - KBS(Korea) and CCTV(China), this drama will be the perfect stage setup for Baby VOX's first attempt into their acting career. The first part of the series will be filmed in Korea while the second part will be filmed in China. The drama airs next January both in Korea and in China.

September 20, 2002 - Baby VOX has landed in Thailand. They will be there for a while, shooting for thier photo album. The Photo Album is due to be released in October, although no exact date has been given.
September 3, 2002 - Better late than never. Hey, I was on vacation. :p
In October, Baby VOX (Kim EZ - age 22, Lee Hee-jin - age 22, Shim Eun-jin - age 21, Kan Mi-yun - age 20, Yoon Eun-hye - age 18) will release a semi-nude photo album. All-nude pictures will be taken, but the overall form will be semi-nude due to "hair nude" being frowned upon [to state it lightly] in Korea. A manager stated that "just recently, singer Kang Sung-hoon publicized a photo of himself lying stark naked in the sand. This Baby VOX photo album is similar. Even if photos are taken while completely undressed, props will be used to cover up private areas and/or more of the back will be shown. They will also be wearing see-through lingerie to show off their figures." Because of this adolescent member Yoon Eun-hye, who is currently in 12th grade, will not be taking any overly revealing photos. Baby VOX is the 2nd female singer/group to make a nude photo album, following singer Yoo Yun-sul. However, they are the first female group to do so. Male singers/groups who have released semi-nude photos include Park Jin-young, Shinhwa, and Kang Sung-hoon. Baby VOX's photo album is expected to follow a story book outline, with one of the sections containing the semi-nude photos. Pictures will be taken during their visit to Thailand and Vietnam next month. Baby VOX will be leaving for a 10 day album promotion tour in the two countries (4 nights, 5 days each). After the promotional schedules, they will be going to an island in Thailand for the photo shoot.
August 23, 2002 - According to CCTV last night, August 22, there was a segment on the China and Korea joint concert. It includes Baby VOX and Kangta, and others. The concert is to be aired August 24th, 22:00 Beijing time. That should be 10 AM Saturday, EST time. Go Baby VOX!
August 19, 2002 - A local Korean newspaper has reported that Baby VOX will be doing a semi-nude photo album, similar to Shinhwa's. They are heading toward Vietnam and Thailand . Their manager has informed they wont be completely nude (front view) but something like KangSungHoon (he was fully naked but was lying on his stomach and it showed his whole body line.)
They'll wear some skimpy clothings, have some full back shots, etc. They have been planning this over 6 months and will go on with the idea.
This is the first time a female group in kpop has anounced they will make a semi nude album. Shinhwa was the first male group in kpop to bring out a photo album like that.

August 12, 2002 - On August 10 at about 4:30 AM, Baby VOX's Lee Hee-jin was verbally assaulted by 4 teens who were lying in wait while she headed home from concert practice. Lee Hee-jin ran the rest of the way home while screaming, but the teens followed and began to throw rocks at her window and kick the door. Neighbors awakened by the noise called police, but the teens got away. However, they reappeared once the police left and continued the harassment for another 2 hours. The manager caught them loitering in the vicinity the next day. The high school students then apologized, claiming that they attacked her in their drunkenness because she looked like a famous celebrity and thought it would be fun. The manager stated that the teens were not prosecuted due to Lee Hee-jin's request, but her front door was dented and her bedroom window was broken. Lee Hee-jin stated that she was so frightened that night that her heart is still pounding. She also said that because she had a similar experience about 2 months ago, her family is now discussing moving. For the time being, managers will serve as her bodyguards.

August 1, 2002 - Baby V.O.X to perform cabaret in lingerie
The five-girl vocal group Baby V.O.X has decided to showcase a little more than their singing talent in an upcoming concert - they will tease their fans' eyes by performing in lingerie.
The pop group, already famous for their physical attractiveness, is preparing a performance number reminiscent of the sultry cabaret show at Moulin Rouge in Paris at a concert at Kyunghee University's Peace Hall Aug. 15. According to industry sources, they will appear in lingerie-style costumes and dazzle the audience with seductive choreography. The unusual decision was reached to make the concert, which will be the group's first solo concert in Korea, more memorable and entertaining for fans, the sources said.
Splashing onto the pop scene big time in 1997 in the heyday of all-girl vocal/dance groups, Baby V.O.X is now dominating pop music charts as virtually the most popular group in Korea, while many of its rivals like S.E.S. and Fin.K.L, are in the process of changing their careers.

July 17, 2002 - There's some good news, and a little of bad news. Which would you like first? Well, some good news - Eunhye's cast appears to be gone in recent CFs. Looks like her leg is doing much better and is all healed!
More good news - there should be a sixth baby vox album. Bad news - it won't be out until Spring of 2003!! That's when %99 of Korean New Releases come out. That's a long time to wait, but at least it gives us fans something to look forward to!
July 15, 2002 - No news is good news? Baby VOX hasn't been up to much lately. They are still touring around China and Taiwan. That is expected to last through July. The have also been doing the usual - commercials and interviews and the like. Any of the latest interviews or commercials can be seen here!

Baby VOX has finally hit #1 on the Top 20!
Yoon Eunhye has injured her leg. She hurt it during the taping of a recent game show she was on. It's possible that she might need surgery.
Follow up news: A music festival in the name of the group Baby Vox will be held in China. This is the first time a Korean group or artist has been honored with such an event. The Baby Vox Music Festival will be held in 15 different parts of the countries starting this May. This event has become extremely popular where tens of thousands of people hoping to become the next singing sensation, showed up for auditions. One city even held four preliminary auditions for the event.

EH: Hello, Pops in Seoul viewers!
ALL: We're Baby VOX!
EH: Finally, the day we've all been waiting for has arrived. Tonight is the opening of the 2002 FIFA World Cup. As you all know, starting off right is important so let's all give our support.
EZ: We hope you all start off on the right foot. In order to show our support for the athletes, we'll give a little cheer.
To the Round of 16, ALL Fighting!
Q1. Tell us about your new album.
MY: I'll introduce our fantastic new special album. This special album contains a total of five CDs. The first one contains title tracks from our previous five albums, the song 'Fortuity', plus a very special track we haven't promoted yet. It's the best song on the album. The second one contains really good songs from our past albums that we were unable to promote. The third one contains all of our ballads, the fourth CD contains candid video shots of us, and the fifth CD contains photos of us looking pretty. In all, there's five CDs. It really is a complete album. Go out and purchase one.
Q2. Title track?
HJ: The title track for our special album is "Fortuity." I'm sure many of you are familiar with the song by now. It was composed by Kim Chang-wan.
The song was originally sung by the group Cola but we re-recorded it in a house version. It contains a very unique rap and a catchy melody that's easy to sing-a-long to. Just in case you don't remember the song, make sure you listen to it again.
Q3. Tell us about your music video.
EZ: The music video for "Fortuity" is full of great stuff. For those of you who have already seen the video you'll know that it contains image cuts of us as well as other things. However, Kan Miyoun's bed scene in the video, was what really turned heads.
MY: I really want to apologize to all of my fans in China. Sorry. I had no idea that my actions left a huge scar in your hearts. I'm really, really sorry. We'll be visiting China soon around June or July, so I'll apologize in person.
Q4. Baby VOX Song Festival?
EZ: A song festival named after our group has been created in China so we are very honored. Like many of the song festivals here in Korea, this festival will be host to many new talents. We're just very honored that such a festival was named after our group. There will be several contests held in various cities and the winner will get a chance to start a music career with us so it will be a good opportunity for both our group and the lucky winner. Since the festival is named after us, we'll be on the panel of judges. We'll be traveling to the cities in China around June or July.
EJ: We hope many of you guys will participate in the event. The festival will be especially meaningful to us cause it's named after our group, plus we get to act as judges. Anyways, we hope for your participation and support.
Q5. Individual plans?
EZ: Although we have worked together as a group, we plan to soon work on individual projects, in different fields. For example, Eunhye has already modeled for several ads and is currently working as a VJ. Eunjin has plans to work as a professional DJ and MC. Heejin will soon be starring in a television drama series and Miyoun is in the cast of a new movie that is jointly produced by Korea and China. I will soon be appearing in a Chinese drama series so I'll be seeing you all then.
Q6. In closing...
EZ: After we're done promoting our special album, we'll be visiting China and Taiwan so, watch out for us. For those of you who can't wait and really miss us, visit our web site and leave us your message. We'll make sure to respond to your messages.

They will be busy in Taiwan on the coming 27th of May for 6 days and 5 nights, there on out, appearing on two show cases, holding autograph sessions, and being interviewed, reaching their fans in Taiwan.

Female group Baby V.O.X (Voice Of eXpression)'s member, Kan MiYeon, was involved in a 'bad scene' in the group's new music video, titled "Chance".
It is the first time a singer has appeared in a 'bad scene' in their own music video, and although the unclothed body is not shown, it is still causing a stir in the entertainment world.
Kan MiYeon starred in the video alongside PLT's Jo SungHoon. Although the two have not studied acting before, fellow singers and entertainers have praised them for showing good acting skills in the video, saying that their 'love' for each other seemed realistic.
The scene where the two share their love was shot behind a curtain so that nothing could be shown to the audience.
The reason Kan MiYeon decided to take the main role for this video is because of her devotion for Baby V.O.X's Special Album. When interviewed, she replied, "We must do well in this album - that's why I volunteered to take this role."
When the filming of the video was over, Kan MiYeon received applauses from her fellow members in the group. "As much as I tried hard," Kan said, "our new song must become a hit in Korea. February 28, 2002 - Baby VOX is going to have a new release soon!!! Due sometime in March, it will be a 5 disc compilation set. There will be a VCD with music videos, concert clips, and each of the members talking. Two discs will have dance remixes of hit songs. There will be one disc with ballads and one with new songs performed in Taiwan and China, and other pre-released songs. They will be touring Korea soon for promotions.
February 7, 2002 - The most recent news is that Baby VOX is happy and resting in their homes and are still practicing for their next album!

January 21, 2002 - On January 17, Baby VOX received word that their dog, who left through an open office door on January 9, had been found. They got the dog, named Muh-shi, when it was just a puppy during their September 1999 concert in New York. They had been frantically looking for the dog, with their label DR Music even offering a 100-man won ($759) reward for finding the dog. The people at an interior design office about 500m away had been taking care of the dog when they learned that the precious dog belonged to Baby VOX, and they refused to accept the award money.
