It has already been eight years since Baby VOX made its debut. First off, I would like to thank our fans who have stood by us through the many happy and difficult times.
Baby VOX has held numerous concerts in many different countries including China, Taiwan, Honkong, Thailand, Australia, USA, Japan, Vietnam, Pyongyang, and Mongolia, and the distance that we have traveled so far, is so much that it would go around the globe more than twenty times. Baby VOX was always there to perform wherever they greet us.
Now, Baby VOX has grown to an international group representing whole Asia, not just Korea's Baby VOX. I used to feel sorry for our fans because most of the time we were on travel touring numerous countries. I also feel sorry, and would like to thank our members who run forward with their duties despite all the difficulties.
It brings me a lot of regrets when I see many of our colleagues who made debuts at a similar time as us, have already broken up, or have left the music industry. I hope you came to understand why we have focused on our activities abroad. We, too, could have long been gone if we had only concentrated on our activates in Korea.
Despite the breakup rumors and others that have lately been floating around, Baby VOX will start again from now on until we achieve the ultimate goal of becoming the best pop group in Asia. I am, however, very regretful that Sim Eunjin will not be with us to the end against all fans expectations. We were unable to renew the contract with her following the completion of the Ride West album activities. Her thoughts are very different than ours, and she wants to be on her own. We wish her the best of luck and much progress in her future endeavor. We have, however, already sorted out our constructive discussions that we have had with other members. I will try to help open the door for other members to become all-round entertainers by balancing individual and group activities. Everything is going well with their preparations, and they have started practicing in the areas of their talent and interest.
Looking back for the past eight years, there has never been a shortage of incidents. There was the getting-away of the main vocals in the 1st album followed by the Kan Miyoun incident in the 3rd album, and also the nude picture scandal with a mobile communication company (we are in the process of wrapping up the law suite that we iniated two years ago, and we are 100 % sure that we will win the suit) to the "Miari VOX" scandal, and now this Sim Eunjin getting away... are just a few came to my mind. But, you fans have always stood by us and given us the strength. I would like to thank you who have trusted and followed our lead.
In this coming 2005 we have a lot of plans and concerts already laid out. Please you fans give our Baby VOX the strength and encouragement and more interests. I wish you all good health and my best wishes for happy new year to all of you.

The popular female group, Baby VOX has recently been swept in the breakup rumors. The fact that Sim Eunjin did not participate in the recent performances, and the contracts for most of the members are due to expire at the end of the year, has helped the rumors flourish. In response, the company behind Baby VOX has rejected the rumors by saying "It is simply not true."
The rumor started at the end-of-the-year award ceremony which was their first public appearance since the wrapping-up of all the official 7th album, Xcstasy, activities this fall. In October, Baby VOX was presented with a "Hanryu Special Contribution Award" at Seoul Gayo Grand Prize which took place at Kyunghee University Peace Auditorium. After accepting the award, Baby VOX put together a performance with a trot star, Jang Yunjeong. This performance was, however, without the presence of Sim Eunjin. Only the four members, Kim EZ, Lee Heejin, Kan Miyoun, and Yun Eunhye have participated in the award ceremony, and "Sim Eunjin is staying in the U.S for a personal reason." was the excuse given for her absence in the performance.
The rumors of a possible breakup of the team continued to flourish through their recent Chinese concert. It was confirmed that Sim Eunjin did not participate in this Baby VOX and Bi combined concert which took place at Beijing Olympic Gymnasium on the 18th. It was a large-scale concert in which not only did Baby VOX and Bi but also Park Jinyoung and Byul have participated, and it was a completely sold-out concert with over 10,000 audiences.
The possible reason behind the absence of a member of the hottest pop group in China in such a big concert, has attracted the great attention of the media, and the breakup rumors continued to circulate to even a greater extent. Baby VOX together with Bi held a large concert called the "1218 Love & Concert" at Peking Olympic Gymnasium, China, in the afternoon of December 18th (local time). A person related to the company behind Baby VOX reported "The Gymnasium that can accommodate close to 10,000 people was completely filled with exceptionally enthusiastic audiences." The Chinese fans responded with so much joy and enthusiasm to the powerful dances and spectacular live performances that Baby VOX and Bi put together at the concert."

Baby VOX and Rain (Singer) will have a large scale combination concert - '12.18 LOVE & CONCERT' in Beijing Olympic gymnasium on December 18.

Baby VOX will participate in the closing event of CAFAIR(East-Asia Union) exhibition on 11.06. The name of this event is China-Union exhibition, it is a special event of China in 2004 year. Over 12 million will visit to this event.

Baby VOX was falsely accused that they had been sued in the US federal court for the use of Tupac's vocals. It is true that Amaru entertainment who owns the copywrites of Tupac's vocals submitted a provisional disposition to forbid sales, but only against Trinity Home Entertainment, but it was confirmed that this case was also dismissed in the LA federal civil court. More info, and I am so frustrated. There are news that Baby VOX will also be in Berkeley on the 17th. But LA confirms them for being in LA. So I called Berkeley and they confirmed Baby VOX as well. She has volunteered herself to vocally participate in their new title song "Baba." She says, "I can't just stand aside. I want to help." Sim Eunjin will be appearing together with WaWa on M.net-KMTV's Gayo program that will take place at KBS 88 Gymnasium at 7:30 pm on August 19th. She is planning on continuing singing together with WaWa for a while. Baba, a medium-tempo song, harmoniously combines an easy melody with WaWa's rap. WaWa who has just released a debut album, belongs to the third generation of the group, "Hyun Jinyoung and WaWa." The first generation consisted of Ku Junyup and Kang Wonrae of Coolon, and Lee Hyundo and Kim Sungjae of Duce were the members of the second generation WaWa. A: No it's not true. Although I don't approach people, once I open my mind to those who approach me zealously I don't get fickle. I never get stressed because of people.
Q: How do you get along with other members?
A: Of course, very well. We talk a lot. I often visit their homes which are nearby. We've stayed together for 8 years. Don't you think we're all close to each other?
Q: Do you often drink with other members? Especially, I heard that Sim Eunjin drinks well. Is it true?
A: Eunjin is really good at drinking. But she's quitted drinking. People tend to think I'd drink well judging from my appearance. That impression is wrong. I can't drink well because of my body's low alcohol tolerance. It isn't that we don't have the opportunity to drink together but I eat side dishes instead when we do.
Q: I heard that you star in "My Love Peking" that's scheduled to be aired soon. You're surely a world star. Any changes after you've become a famous international star?
A: Although our area of activities has extended to overseas, my lifestyle hasn't been affected much. But it's true that it's hard to keep up physically. It's hard because we often have to go overseas and don't have enough rest. Not too long ago, we held concerts spreading over eleven cities in China. I didn't even know which city was where. I only remember, I was continuously packing and unpacking for a month. After one concert we packed and moved onto a next city and performed. Once the tour begins it's very hard.
Q: I heard you've been given some land by the Mongolian president?
A: Yes, it's true. I heard they're even building country houses there. However, we can't afford time to go to Mongolia now.
Q: You've been always busy since your debut. Did you have boyfriends?
A: It's already been eight years, there have been some, but I don't want to comment on my personal life.
Q: What do you look for in a guy?
A: First, I don't like gorgeous and cool looking guys. I don't feel comfortable with handsome guys because I look strong, and my appearance will make him look even more appealing. I like a guy with comfortable looks, a guy without such big eyes and with a tall nose. I just like a guy with a comfortable style.

According to a Korean news paper, Korean Airline, who has become their sponsor since they allowed for BABY VOX to film the new music video at Kimpo Airport, announced that they will show the music video for Xcstasy in their flights to China and other Asian countries. They estimate that around a half million of their passengers who use Korean Airline in June alone will see the music video. For this purpose, the music video will have a special greeting from BABY VOX. It is the first time that Korean Airline will show a pop music video in their flights. Korean Airline hopes that they can successfully extend their business and penetrate deeper into the markets of China and other Asian countries using the popularity of BABY VOX. In return, Korean Airline promises that they will do their best to help promote Korean music and culture by using their know-how accumulated from working abroad and by using their vast network of operation.
BABY VOX is no longer just a pop group. It has become an icon of Korean pop culture, and many companies hope to use BABY VOX's success and popularity to benefit their business.

BABY VOX Member Shim Eun Jin will featuring in a record project with top artists such as Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cents, and B2K.
Last 25th of April, Shim Eun Jin went to a studio in Korea with FLoss P and recorded the song "Hot" with some of America's famous hip hop music producers.
BABY VOX's Management Company DR, said that the song "Hot" which features Shim Eun Jin, will be released in the U.S around August. It will be a included in Floss P's upcoming album. The most interesting part is that this album will feature artists like Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cents, and BBV member Shim Eun Jin.
Floss P is known for participating as a music producer for Dr. Dre, Eminem, 2PAC, 50 Cents, and B2K. Also, he is known for making the rap for the world famous group 50 Cents. Floss P also appraised Shim Eun Jin's good English Skills.

The female group BABY VOX is to perform in their wish to help solve global poverty issues.
BABY VOX consisting of five female singers, Kim Eiji, Lee Heejin, Kan Miyoun, Sim Eunjin, and Yun Eunhye will perform at the "Global Sharing Campaign" event that will be held on April 27th at Backbum Kim Ku Memorial Convention Hall located in Hyochang Park, Seoul, Korea. BABY VOX is expected to perform their new songs from the recently released 7th album as well as their previous hit songs in an effort to let people become more aware of the global poverty issues.
BABY VOX is holding this special performance because they've been working as the Ambassador for the "Global Sharing Movement" Organization. Last January, BABY VOX was offered the position of the Ambassador for this civic organization that has been established to help the world neighbors who are suffering from the poverty.
BABY VOX gladly accepted their offer because they were moved by the purpose of the campaign. Since then, BABY VOX has actively participated in their campaigns. BABY VOX has also been donating 1% of their income to this organization. BABY VOX said, "We hope, through this event (their special performance), our young people to become more aware of our needy neighbors in the world.

Are you one of those fans who have wondered why the song “Xcstasy” was introduced as “Whansang” (its direct translation to English would be “Fantasy”) when Baby VOX made the comeback performances on SBS TV’s “Inkigayo”?
According to Sports Seoul, SBS TV told BABY VOX on April 17th that the word “Xcstasy” could well lead to sexual imagination, therefore, could not be used as the title of the song for their “Inkigayo” program.
BABY VOX was able to finish their performances only after they have hastily changed the title of their new song “Xcstasy” to “Fantasy.” SBS TV did not, however, think that they had problems with the lyrics in the Korean version of “Xcstasy,” which read “Do you really wanna have fun with me? Do you really wanna go with me? You’re gonna loose control... “

The following is the translated excerpt from the interview conducted by Sports Seoul, which has been published on the 14th.
Q: How do you feel about your come back since you completed the 6th album activities 9 months ago?
VOX: We always get together regardless, so, we haven’t noticed that it has already been that long. Personally (Eiji), I don’t enjoy doing individual activities that much. So, I’m glad that we can now work together again as a team.
Q: Noticed many changes in the new album?
VOX: We have long wanted to do hip-hop since we made our debut 7 years ago. We think that the time has come. Our fans will notice a lot of changes in our music and style when they have the opportunity to listen to our new songs. We are satisfied that we have done what we wanted to do even though our fans may not like it as much as we do. The new songs are Americanized, therefore you need to listen more often to get used to them.
Q: Any difficulties during the recording?
VOX: We finished recording at the end of last year. The new m/v was filmed in January. The later part of the album production (mixing & mastering) was done in the US. It took us two months to come up with the sounds that render the effects of hip-hop.
Q: How have you been beside the new album production?
VOX: We had a 1-month vacation (it was our first time to have such a long vacation since we made our debut seven years ago). Eunjin: I traveled a lot. I’ve been to Kangwondo (Korea) as well as America. Miyoun: I just stayed home and never went out. I always stay home when there is no schedule.
Q: You were greeted with such acclamations at the Asian Music Award that was held in Thai.
VOX: We’d never thought that Thai fans could greet us that enthusiastically. We were happy to be there with other reputable Asian stars. We regretted that we didn’t start studying English earlier!
Q: Any interesting episodes from the Thai visit?
VOX: When we were there, we heard that a famous gay show in Bangkok used one of our songs for its performance. We thought about taking legal actions over the copyright infringement, but later decided not to pursue it.
Q: Heard rumors about romantic relationships lately:
VOX: None of us have boyfriends. Eunjin: I laugh at all those rumors. They are just halfway true. I just ignore what they say.
Q: Future plans?
VOX: We’ll focus on the new album activities in Korea. We will have concerts in Czech Rep. in May and in Thai in June. We have had a lot of good memories from the first concert that we held in Seoul about two years ago. We hope that we will be able to meet our fans more often through good concerts.

Hi, I'm fanclub manager. This notice is information of new album.
Many abroad musicians made seventh album with Baby VOX with the name of title [Ride west!]. There is the rapping of 2pac and chorus of Jennifer Lopez for instance. Baby VOX is famous singer in China, Taiwan, Hongkong, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Mongolia. Baby VOX as Asian star will challenge the Billboard with Bungalo Records.
The title songs of seventh album are "Xcstasy (2pac)" and "Play (Jennifer Lopez)". There are whole 13 songs and many songs are recorded as Korean and English. The producer is Flossy. P who made songs of Eminem, 50 cent, Backstreet boys, Mary J Blige. Also Onegod as Korean musician(Bungalo Records, Berkly graduated) made Korean melody and lyrics.

Joining existing sponsors, Korean Airlines has announced that it will actively promote BABY VOX's campaign around the world. Korean Airlines will provide BABY VOX with free flights and also establish funds for needy peoples wherever BABY VOX may visit.
Backed by Korean Airlines and other sponsors, BABY VOX plans to hold a concert every month in various countries around the world including Czeckoslovakia, China, and Mongolia in 2004. March 27, 2004 - [BABY VOX Digital Camera Terror under the skirt]
On March 25, popular female group BABY V.O.X reported that there was "digital camera terror" during their stay in Bangkok, Thailand for the Channel V Thailand Music Awards.
According to the youngest member, Yoon Eun Hye, while BABY VOX was performing and receiving the "Special Asia Award", a guy, in his mid-20s was trying to film them from under the members' skirts.
At this day, Yoon Eun Hye (20), Lee Hee Jin (24) and Kan Mi Yeon (22) were wearing short skirts.
After noticing that a suspicious guy was filming them under their skirts, Yoon Eun Hye gave several warnings to the guy while performing. After a while, Kan Mi Yeon and Lee Hee Jin also noticed and did not get too close to that guy.
After the performance, when BABY VOX was interviewed, they explained that "The guy had dark face and wore glasses". "He didn't look like he was from Thailand, he didn't Korean either, but he looked more like a Japanese". "Maybe he is a fan of the Japanese singer that came to Thailand to perform".
The CEO for DR Music Entertainment group, Yoon Dung Ryung, told the police to investigate about the incident.

March 23, 2004 - As we know, on March 24th, Baby VOX will be arriving in Thailand. While there, they will visit the GMM Thai office and then attend the music awards in the evening. On March 26th, they will have a fan meeting with Thai fans called the "BABY VOX Fanclub Meet & Greet Party" and will be at 8.00 p.m at Color Frame studio. There should be a mini concert and autographs. They will also be showing the new Seventh Album MV at this time. Singer BoA has conquered the international barriers that usually stump Korean artists with her successful career in Japan. But one local female group has the potential to surpass BoA's clout: Baby VOX, whose groundbreaking seventh album to be released later this month features Jennifer Lopez and the late rapper, Tupac Shakur. DR Music, Baby Vox's management company, has agreed to a partnership with California-based Bungalo Records (distributed by Universal Records) to produce and promote the five-member group on an unprecedented scale in both Korean and English. Bungalo Records is a hip-hop and rap production company that has worked with legends such as Dr. Dre and Shakur.
"Bungalo is interested in Baby VOX because they want to capitalize on the Asia-wide market. Their research showed that Baby VOX is the only group with popularity in China and Southeast Asia. John Ferguson, Bungalo Records vice-president, came to Seoul to propose a joint venture to DR Music," said Yoon Deung-ryong, DR Music president.
Baby VOX's new track, "Play" will feature Lopez in the background and chorus, a song Lopez originally recorded with Usher. An unreleased Shakur track will present the rapper's prerecorded voice rhyming with Baby VOX member, Kim Eiji, in a remix of the Nat King Cole classic "Unforgettable". Alan Calzetti - a video director well known for his work with Madonna, Shakur, NSYNC and an awarding winning video "Get Down" with the Backsteet Boys - was hired to shoot a Baby Vox video for three days at the Gimpo Airport for a racecar-themed video. They rented an airplane hanger and the Korean government granted special permits to Baby VOX for the project.
"It was our first time to work with an renowned director, and it was very different from working with Korean directors because of the higher level of organization, preparedness and over-all professionalism. The girls were excited, even though they were shivering from the cold," Yoon said.
Korean hip-hop developed a decade ago from a "bubble gum and lollipop" foundation, attracting young listeners. American music has since had an effective role of "sexing up" Korea's pop artists, like Lee Hyo-lee, who emulates Jennifer Lopez with midriff-baring crop tops and "buttocks padding" inserts to "pump-up the volume'.
"Lee's success in Korea as a hip-hop artist would be considered pop in the U.S. We are upgrading hip-hop in Korea by working with well-known American professionals.
