November 26, 2005 - [Baby VOX has NOT broken up]
This is from a Thai translation of Heejin's interview from babyvoxfanclub.com from Thai fans.
Heejin talks about Baby VOX's current situation. In a brief interview, Heejin said "Now, many people think about Baby VOX both in positive and negative side. Some people said that the band is broken up already because Eunjin and Eunhye have quit from the band". She confirmed that "Baby VOX won't break up although the 2 members have left. It's time for Eunjin to go for her way and do her individual work. Same as Eunhye, she thought it's time for her to leave too". Heejin also said "Baby VOX can have an album whenever we want as a five members (note - don't know it's included Eunjin and Eunhye or not) because we had lived together for so long but, anyway, we also have our own dreams. So, I hope you guys can accept this situation that we have to do our individual work for awhile."
In the end, she asked fans to support her individual work.

I just wanted to make everyone aware that there are full break up rumours going around. Chinese fans say that Baby VOX has officially broken up as of october 11th; and that Heejin and Eiji are going to sign solo contracts with DR and that Miyoun is still trying to figure out what she wants to do. Right now, I dont believe the rumours. There has been no Korean news or really, any official news that has come out about it. I'm going to sit on the fence about this and just wait and see. but I thought the fans might want to know.
September 27, 2005 - [Baby VOX Doesnt Perform in Malaysia]
It was the Korean guys who kept Malaysian fans mesmerised with their sporting performances at the Winning Hearts Mini Concert, writes NOORSILA ABDUL MAJID.
AS if there were not enough problems plaguing the chaotic Korea Stars Asian Tour in Kuala Lumpur, the diva tantrums thrown by Baby Vox at the Winning Hearts Mini Concert, held in celebration of the 15th anniversary of South Korea and Asian Dialogue Partnership at the MCA Hall on Thursday night, were uncalled for.
Instead of performing at the mini concert as announced earlier by the organisers, members of the Korean girl band plugged in five of their steamy hot music videos, came on stage and told the crowd: “We apologise for not being able to present our songs to you tonight. But the next time we come to Malaysia, we’ll definitely sing for you.”
No explanation was given by the trio – Kim EZ, Lee Hee-jin and Kan Mi-youn – on why they couldn’t sing. But according to sources in Mypartners, the co-organiser of the event, the girls were not happy that Malaysian fans (and the media) were more interested in Kim Jae-won, the cutie-pie TV actor who is actually the biggest star in the Korea Stars Asian Tour, not to mention being one of the most recognisable Korean faces on Malaysian TV.
Oh surely, Baby Vox couldn’t expect the mainstream Malaysian pop fans, whose taste in music has yet to expand beyond the Malay, English and Chinese lyrics- driven songs, to know them. Or when Hallyu, the Korean hit wave, that had swept over the country was mainly caused by the commercial appeal of hit Korean melodramas like Winter Sonata, Autumn in My Heart, My Love Patzi (which starred Kim Jae Won and Jang Na Ra).
Thank goodness for the impressive performances put up by rising K-pop bands WaWa and Cross.
This intimate mini concert, aimed at introducing K-pop to the mainstream music fans in Malaysia, would have failed to win many hearts if the boys did not deliver their best.
While WaWa bowled over the crowd with its heart-thumping hip hop/dance music and nifty dance movements, the members of Cross – Lee Si-ha (real name is Lee Dong-ku) and Kim Kyung-hyun – proved that they would be a force to reckon with on the Korean pop-rock front.
Strapping on his electric guitar, Cross’s principal songwriter, Lee, exchanged pleasantries with the audience shortly before the two-piece band launched into its current chart topper, Don’t Cry. Never mind its lyrics that sounded like gobbledygook. Don’t Cry is a lovely rock ballad that left the 200-odd crowd clamouring for more.
“Malaysia and Korea are friends, right,” asked Lee at the end of the song. “Let’s prove it. I want all of you to stand up. Let’s party.”
In respect of their audience who were mainly non-Korean speaking Malaysians, Lee and lead vocalist Kim delivered their covers of Queen’s We Will Rock You and Ricky Martin’s Living La Vida Loca. They were not exactly note-to-note covers.
Cross included its own interpretations of the songs by having cutie Kim shrieking ala an angry rocker at the end of the songs. Oh boy, Kim could really give Ricky Martin a run for his money – vocal-wise, that is.
His ability to manipulate his vocal chords, coupled by his good looks, made Kim the perfect frontman of Cross.
As for Kim Jae-won, his special appearance on stage was enough to psyche up the crowd. “Selamat Malam, I am Kim Jae-won. I can’t sing because I am an actor in Korea. So I will leave the singing part to my friends WaWa and Cross.”
PEKO'S NOTE - Fans that were actually at the concert claim this article is false. True, Baby VOX didnt perform, but that it was because they were unprepared to do so as a three member group, not because they are jealous divas.

The group Baby V.O.X is scheduled to start anew as a 3 member-team. Since Shim Eun-jin left last year, the group has been working with 4 members. The youngest of the group, Yoon Eun-hye, will now also be leaving the group.

Last year, after Eunjin left, Baby VOX determined that Eunhye was not needed, but that the three remaining members, Kim Eiji, Lee Heejin and Kan Miyoun, will launch domestic and overseas activity. Will there be any kind of future for Baby VOX?

Yoon Eunhye (21) has left Baby VOX. When another group member left (Eunjin), Eunhye saw a chance as well and has left DR Music. She is concentrating on her individual activities. Eunhye had been with Baby VOX since 1997, where she made her debut with the five member band. Now, only Kim Eiji and Lee Heejin remain as original members.
The president of DR Music admitted to a bad year with the release of Baby VOX's seventh album, Ride West. Eunhye and DR Music met, and with the unpopularity of the seventh album, decided this was a good time to leave.
DR Music also states that they are unsure yet whether or not they will go to Japan for new members or stay with the three remaining members. This is something that will have to be discussed a lot.
