Baby VOX 2 now has a new name.

DR Entertainment released on December 6 the group's new name - "BABYVOX Re.v". Re.v, wherein "Re" was taken from the first 2 letters of Renaissance which means resurrection and "v" which stands for voice, means that the group will again put out a sound and have a new start.

The group is composed of five beautiful ladies who will surprise the public with their songs and dance.

BABYVOX Re.v will be releasing their 1st album in January 2007.

Jewlery and Baby VOX make a fresh face new start!

The female group Jewlery had a member leave and the female group Baby VOX, where all members left, are getting new members with fresh faces.

Jewlery had a member leave and it will fill that vacant seat with a new member and it is annouced that in the first half of next year there will be a new album.

The new member of Jewlery will be the leader and the recruitment was open to the public.

In 2004, Baby VOX started losing members. Eunjin made her solo declaration and the other members soon followed. Hereupon this, the announcement was made to make Baby VOX 2.

Baby VOX 2 newly entering members are still in the process of recording an album and in December, everything will be revealed. The Baby VOX 2 members are still being hidden to amplify the anticipation.

Jewlery, along with Baby VOX, the changing of members causes everyone to pay attention. There is the possibility of keeping the groups same names to maintain a fan-base, but it is not solid yet.

November 14th, 2006 - [A New Baby VOX]

A new female group like Baby V.O.X will debut in the Korean pop music world.

Baby V.O.X. and Fin K.L. were one of the most popular female groups during the late 1990s and early 2000s.

But the group disbanded in 2004. The label that once managed the female group is now looking for new singers to form a new girl band like Baby V.O.X.

Initially, the new group was planned to keep the name Baby V.O.X but it was finally decided that they will have a new name.

The label has requested the public to share some ideas on what name the new group will have. If you also have ideas, you can propose them at www.drmusic.co.kr. If your suggested name gets chosen, you will have the chance to spend four days with the new group in Thailand.

September 2nd, 2006 - [A Second Baby VOX Generation?]

Baby VOX is making a comeback in the pop music world with new faces. Shim Eun Jin, Kan Mi Yun, Yoon Eun Hye, and members have gone their separate ways in their activities. The group appears to be extinct but is revitalizing itself through a second generation of members.

Morning Musume, a female Japanese idol group that debuted in 1997 at the same time as Baby VOX, uses a system where the group keeps the name while members are continually replaced. Baby VOX will be following Morning Musume's model, replacing members to keep the group alive. Although Korean pop groups do occasionally have member changes, there has never been an instance where a group completely changes members while keeping the same name.

Baby VOX, together with other singing artists HOT, NRG, and Ahn Jae Wook, were among the first wave of Korean stars to be active in China and Thailand. They released and performed their hits like Oo Yon, Killer, and Yayaya, garnering attention from a lot of male fans with their sexy dance moves.

Baby VOX released their 7th album 'Ride West' in April of 2004, after which Shim Eun Jin withdrew from the group. Last year, member Yoon Eun Hye transformed herself into an actress while Kim EZ, Kan Mi Yun, and Lee Hee Jin each sought different production companies and are completely broken for the first time in 10 years.

Baby VOX's production company DR Music retains ownership over the group name and will be changing the faces and music in a complete transformation. Four members have been in training for the new Baby VOX since 3 years ago and one or two more members will be added after auditions to create a group of 5 or 6 people.

After Baby VOX 1st generation's dispersal, there were rumors of bringing in a new group member from China, which has not happened. DR Music's rep stated, "It's true that we tried to find a Chinese member for the Baby VOX 2nd generation. However, due to complications from culture clash and other issues, we've decided to have only Korean members."

The second generation will be performing with excellent artists like Wheesung and Gummy, and with groups like G.O.D and Fly to the Sky, so songwriters are working on transforming Baby VOX into a truly musical group. They'll also be 'upgrading' dance choreography to emphasize the leg lines of the new members with great bodies.

Lee Heejin is now taking a course to gain more weight by taking in 3 meals a day because there are many people told her that she is very skinny. Heejin, who is preparing her career from singer to TV star, had a hard time practicing horse riding, exercise, etc, which use up physical strength. After 2 months, she's gained more weight, around 3-4kg (6.6 to 8.8 pounds). She said that "When I'm skinny, I feel weak. But after I gained some weight through exercise, I feel I became strong and I'll try to gain more weight, around 7-8kg ( 15.4 to 17.6 pounds)."

Miyoun: A extremely profound memory is of a boy fan. At that time BABY VOX swept in to China, he appeared at each China activity. He then did always walk with us when we arrived wherever. At that time I thought China's fans were really unusual. Moreover, I was truly surprised at the unusual deep love to BABY VOX. Previously, I had not thought we could have such fans overseas, no matter how far away we always are from them. Therefore I always remember them.

Host: Has BABY VOX really broken up? Later, will there be the possibility to regroup?

Miyoun: We as BABY VOX has said we cannot use the term "break-up" to describe how we now move our own way. We as BABY VOX have also has expressed our intentions in South Korea to the media. We have not dismissed that one day, maybe, we will discuss a regrouping. But now we have introduced our own respective activities. Actually now each person has thier own commitment to start thier own development. But BABY VOX wll forever be in existence.

Netizen: You were the main singer in the band before, singing pop songs and dance songs. Which will be your choice in your solo album? Introduce your new ablum to us please.

Miyoun: I can tell all the netizens, definitely, the songs will be the other way around. Most songs are fond and gentle (ballads) in my new ablum. As all Baby VOX�fs fans know, our new albums were be mysterious before release. I wish all the Baby VOX fans are waiting for my new ablum just as they waited for Baby VOX�fs. Host: Will you change your look?

Miyoun: You will see the more natural Kan Miyoun. You will see the live Kan Miyoun on the stage.

Host: Now, you two people both are the very strong singers. Can you two mutually appraise the ability of which the opposite party sings?

STAR: Kan Miyoun is the senior among us.

Last year, truly, I was thinner than the present. Last year because I studied very hard and had a busy graduation time, which did not allow me to be healthy. Possibly also I needed to exercise. Now I am diligent to gain weight and I eat a lot of food.

Host: This news has very many fans very much worried. But you have a special edition to be released to coordinate with very many activities. Have you arrived at any plans for China?

Miyoun: This special edition that is released in South Korea will be distributed nearly at the same time in China. I will first promote myself in South Korea, but the Chinese fans will not have to wait very for a long time to see me.

Host: Kan Miyoun already came to a part of China very many believe to be inferior. But you like China. Moreover, you did not nitpick about China's vegetables. What is your most liked Chinese thing?

Miyoun: I most like eating the harsh powder (?). In fact, all Chinese food is delicious.

Heejin came to Phuket to participate in a marathon held on June 18th in which she ran for 10.5 km. After that Heejin will fly to Bangkok to watch the world cup (Korea VS France) and cheer for Korean Team with Korean people and Thai fans altogether and will go back to Korea on Monday evening.

Singer Lee Hee-jin, a former member of the female music group BabyVOX, received a loud ovation from her fans in Shanghai, China.

Lee attended the "Qianwancheng Charity Bazaar" held at the Shinsegae Department Store in Shanghai, China on Mar. 12, Korean Standard Time. The event was held to celebrate the opening of the "South Korean-Chinese Joint-Venture Qianwancheng Entertainment Training Center," which opened early this year. The organizer, "Qianwancheng Arts & Culture Corporation," decided to invite Lee to the event as a representative hallyu star.

Lee's popularity in China was demonstrated when she stepped out of Pudong International Airport in Shanghai. Despite attempts to keep her arrival secret, many avid fans had arrived at the airport to welcome her carrying various placards and balloons. The fans continued to follow Lee from the airport to the event venue. Many of them had come to Shanghai after taking hours-long train trips from Nanjing, Hangzhou and other Chinese regions. Lee's eyes were brimming with tears when she heard that a fan had arrived from Chengdu after more than three hours of air travel.

In a press conference held at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Shanghai prior to the charity bazaar, Lee was met by journalists from about 80 TV and newspaper companies, including Shanghai's largest TV network--Dongfang TV--and Shanghai TV.

It is a well-known fact that BabyVOX was at the forefront of the hallyu boom in the past. But Lee, a former member of the female group, still enjoys high popularity in China. Baby VOX, after 7 years, will break up.

Baby VOX has met a substantial dissolution.

The most recent blow to Baby VOX has been Kan Miyoun leaving DR Music to sign a solo contract with H2 Entertainment.

The remaining member, Heejin, her feelings and actions will become known sooner or later, but it is possible she will follow Kim Eiji to her new agency.

Baby VOX started in 1999, with hits such as Get Up, Killer, Ooyon. Together with SES, Baby VOX became the face of kpop girl groups, the only difference between the two groups is that Baby VOX lasted 7 years.

Kim Eiji, a member of the female music group Baby V.O.X, will leave the group and focus on her career as an actress.

An official from her new agency said on Jan. 25, "We have signed a management contract with Kim Eiji recently. She will focus on acting for films and TV in the future." This agency also maintains contracts with actresses Hwang In-young, Cho Yeo-jung, Lee Young-eun, and Oh Se-jung. Kim once acted in KBS TV2's miniseries "Beijing, My Love," which aired in 2004.

It has now become nearly impossible for Baby V.O.X to continue their activities, as Kim has broken away from the group following Shim Eun-jin and Yoon Eun-hye.

"It is true that Kim Eiji has changed her management agencies, but it's not appropriate to say Baby V.O.X will be disbanded. We are now discussing if the group should continue working by replenishing it with new members," said an official from BabyV.O.X's agency, DR Music.
